This is a poem I learned.Twas brilling and the slithey toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the boregoves
And the mone raths outgrabe

Beware the Jabber wock my son
The jaws that bite the claws that catch
Beware the jub jub bird and shun
the frumus bandersnach

he took his vorble sword in hand
a long time he soght
so rested he by the tum tum tree
and stood awhile in thought

and as unffish thought he stood
the Jabber wock with eyes of flame
came whiffling through the tuggley wood
and brbuled as it came

1 2 1 2 and through and through
the vorble blade went snicker snack
he left it dead and with its head
he went gluffing back

and thou has slay the jabber wock
come to my arms my veenish boy
oh frajos day collo colley
he chortled in his joy

Twas brilling and the slithey toves
did gyre and gimble in the wabe
all mimsey were the borgoves
and the mone raths outgrabe
